We use art and design
to expand student access to voting

Most college students are interested in voting. But they’re faced with a process that is new and with rules that are confusing.

Our projects clarify the process, create community, empower peer-to-peer learning, and prompt action! As artists and designers, we use our skills in narrative and visual design along with our capacity to think sideways to develop non-partisan, creative solutions.

The Creative Campus Voting Project is a non-partisan initiative based at the University of Michigan Stamps School of Art & Design. Our team has been using creative action research to increase college-age voter participation since 2018.
